Are Cell Phones Dangerous?

Cell Phone X-RayQuestion to Dr. Blaylock:

During your diligent research, have you come across any evidence supporting damage to the brain from cell phones?

Dr. Blaylock’s answer:

There is considerable evidence that cell phones damage the brain as well as other tissues and organs. Many studies have shown that the microwave radiation from cell phones damages tissues and especially DNA. In fact, two of the scientists cell phone companies backed to do these studies were fired when their studies demonstrated DNA damage in all cells exposed to the wavelengths and energy from cell phones.

Several studies have shown an increase in brain tumors and a breakdown of the blood-brain barrier. The risk is especially great for children because of their thin skulls, which exposes a greater volume of their brains to the radiation. In addition, because their brains are still undergoing a considerable amount of development, the radiation can cause abnormalities in brain pathway development.

I am especially concerned with the great number of pre-teen and teenagers using these phones for such long periods of time. Remember, the brain does not reach full maturity until age 27. I am also concerned that so many microwave towers are being placed within buildings — even on the steeples of churches. These towers are blanketing entire cities with microwaves. There are studies that show that cell phone microwaves can induce sterility, as well.

Science Proves Breastfeeding Creates Stronger Bonds

The secret to mother-baby bonding might be breast milk, according to new research that determines that breast-feeding mothers are more likely than formula-feeding moms to bond with their infants in the months after they’re born. They also demonstrate stronger brain responses when they hear their baby cry, according to a study published in the May issue of the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry.

Researchers at the Child Study Center at Yale University divided moms into two groups — nine breast-feeders and eight formula-feeders — and performed functional MRIs (fMRI) on them about a month after their babies were born.

While participants lay in a scanner and listened to clips of their own baby and an unknown child crying, researchers tracked what areas of their brains lit up. All mothers’ brains were more active when listening to their own baby’s cry, but the changes in the breast-feeding mothers’ relevant brain regions were far more significant.

Breastfeeding is the least expensive and most effective way to improve and protect your baby’s health, and now a first-of-its-kind study also suggests that breastfeeding may have a direct impact on a mother’s brain, promoting ‘maternal behavior’ and increasing emotional bonding between the mother and child.

This is not altogether surprising, since breastfeeding promotes the increased release of oxytocin, also known as the “love hormone,” or “bonding hormone.”

It’s All a Dream [song]

Music – Written & Recorded by: Steve Phillips
Title: Dumbing Down

http://www.youtube.com/user/StevePhillips11

Song Lyrics:
They’re dumbing us down
putting aspartame in our drinks
and fluoride in our toothpaste and the water
until we can’t even think straight any more

Taking prozac when we’re down
ritalin for the kids and
tamiflu for the swine flu scare
we just can’t feel no more

Things are not what they seem
It’s all a dream

There’s chemtrails in the sky and
pollution in the sea
there’s Monsanto taking over the food chain
but we just don’t see the lies

The TV and the newspapers
they’re keeping us all asleep
the bankers and the oil men
they’re feeding off our sheep mentality

Things are not what they seem
It’s all a dream

An eye for an eye
and a tooth for a tooth
we’re so busy fighting each other that we don’t see
only the truth will set us free

Things are not what they seem
It’ all a dream

How Fluoride Causes Hypothyroidism And Low Body Voltage

The thyroid gland controls the rate at which the body produces energy, and is instrumental in the development of the bones, brain, and nervous system. Hypothyroidism (an under-performing thyroid) is expressed by a depressed body temperature and voltage, and is linked to many diseases.

Dr. Jerry Tennant describes how fluoride “bullies out” the iodine (an essential component) in the thyroid hormone, which regulates the body’s voltage. If your body does not have proper voltage, it will not “heal” like it should because “healing” is simply cells reproducing to create new cells, which then replace the older damaged cells, and -50 mV’s of voltage is required for cells to do this. This means that sufferers of lowered body voltage induced by fluoride consumption are more vulnerable to all types of diseases and injuries.

Contrary to the unsubstantiated, regurgitated message that ‘fluoride in water protects our teeth’, the evidence shows that ingesting fluoride actually causes damage to teeth, a tragically all too common condition known as “dental fluorosis”. People, we really need to get fluoride out of our water; this is a very serious issue.

“If there’s any doubt, get it out!”

Study: High Fluoride = Brain Damage

(By Ethan A. Huff, NaturalNews)

A new study pre-published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives confirms that fluoridated water causes brain damage in children. The most recent among 23 others pertaining to fluoride and lowered IQ levels, the new study so strongly proves that fluoride is a dangerous, brain-destroying toxin that experts say it could be the one that finally ends water fluoridation.

This is the 24th study that has found this association,Read the rest of this entry »

Food, Dieting and Health

By Lance D’Aoust

Here is my OPINION and Experience about Food, Dieting and Health

The way you look at food and eating is important because going on a special diet is the reason you will not lose weight and keep it off. If you want to be healthy and stay healthy you cannot go on and off diets. The way you think is the solution.

  • Food is not entertainment. Even though it can be so much fun!
  • Boredom is not the time to eat. Your mouth wants it, not your body.
  • Food is for survival. Your acceptance of this concept is critical.

Hunger is a Complex Mechanism that is Simple to Understand:

  • When your stomach is low on food it sends a signal to the brain.
    • This signal is mistakenly accepted by people as the signal to eat. It isn’t. It is the signal to hunt or gather your next meal before it’s too late.
      • Because you don’t live in a cave you have the luxury of doing nothing all the way up until you actually need to eat. Or you can go eat something right now. But because you don’t actually need it yet, you are only going to be collecting mass rather than sustaining yourself. Read the rest of this entry »

Exercise for Kids – Tips for Parents

Dr. Mercola’s Comments

Exercise is just as important for kids as it is for adults, but unfortunately many children are emulating their parents and getting far less physical activity than they need to stay healthy.

Less than one-third of kids aged 6 to 17 get at least 20 minutes of vigorous exercise a day, and the 2010 Shape of the Nation Report from the American Heart Association and the National Association for Sport and Physical Education actually recommends one hour of exercise a day for Americans of all ages.

Kids are clearly falling way short of this goal. The report states:

“The reality, of course, is that children and adolescents in the United States are primarily sedentary. Most kids under age 18 spend the majority of their day sitting in classrooms, and a big part of their free time outside of school watching television, playing video games or surfing the Internet.”

Why is Physical Activity So Important for Kids?

Too much sedentary time is one of the forces driving the child obesity epidemic. About one-third of U.S. children aged 2-19 years are now overweight or obese, and childhood diabetes has increased 10-fold in the last 20 years. Read the rest of this entry »

Diet Tricks That Really Work

According to Live Science, these diet tricks will actually help you keep off the pounds:

Avoid corn syrup

diet tricksScience shows that high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is bad news. One study showed that rats who drank HFCS-sweetened beverages gained significantly more weight than rats consuming the same amount of calories in sugar.

Keep away from junk food — It’s Addictive

Junk food can affect your brain in ways similar to drug abuse.

Structure meal times

Long stretches without food make people crave energy-dense snacks, which can make healthy choices difficult.

TV and Your Child’s Brain – EXPLAINED

I looked at some research into how TV affects the viewers brain. I will try to explain it in simple terms (because I am rather simple myself)

  • The stimulus (TV/Porn/Movie/Music video/etc) sends A/V signals to the subject’s brain.
  • The subject’s brain then processes what it is experiencing with eyes and ears.
  • The subject is stationary, usually at rest, in a familiar setting and is comfortable there.
  • The violent stimulus triggers natural fight or flight reactions in the subject’s brain, but the subject is not in any real danger, so the subject’s brain suppresses any reactions.
  • Change the stimulus and the respective reactions take place in the brain, usually contrary to the subject’s state, and the brain suppresses further.
  • There are no exciting videos of people sitting on their couches. The SIMS is the closest you’re going to get to that, haha, so the stimulus is almost always in direct contrast to the viewer’s current state.

Now, with that said, what happens when the brain reacts, then is suppressed – repeatedly? Well, over a 120 minute movie with the action, romance, and drama peaking and falling throughout, the brain gets a good workout. As an adult you’re used to it, but with a kid, they’re just learning to suppress these things, and what happens is they build up the feelings rather than suppressing them. So, at the end of a fighting movie they want to release that build up, and they act-out. At the end of a sad movie they might be on a downer, or appear saddened. Over time, they develop coping mechanisms, but some kids don’t and they act-out all the time, and as they grow up they act-out on a larger scale.

Think About It.
